ABOUT DR. PRUTHVIRAJ R.

Pruthviraj R. is a Sports Physiotherapist with nearly two decades of experience in clinical practice and academics. During his Sports Physiotherapy training, he worked with elite athletes from Punjab Police who have represented the country and was also part of the Indian Women’s Hockey Team.

His passion for teaching led him to a career in academics, where he has successfully mentored young Physiotherapy students at JSS College of Physiotherapy, The Oxford College of Physiotherapy and R V College of Physiotherapy.

In his private practice as Director at Isha Physiotherapy, he has maintained high standards of professionalism in delivering evidence-based care to meet the needs of his clients. His passion for shoulder rehabilitation led him to train under Professor Jeremy Lewis, who also inspired his ongoing PhD research in shoulder rehabilitation.

Being an adherent follower of Continuous Professional Development, he keenly follows the work of IASP, NOI Group and Pain Revolution in the areas of Pain Neuroscience and Chronic Pain Management, along with leading researchers including Prof. Mick Thacker, Prof. Peter O’Sullivan, Prof. Paul Hodges, Prof. Lorimer Moseley and Prof. Jill Cook.

He currently serves as Professor and Principal at RV College of Physiotherapy and Dean of the Faculty of Physiotherapy & Allied Health Sciences, RGUHS.
