Dr. K. Kamlesh Jain is a physiotherapist specialising in sports therapy, with extensive experience working with professional cricket teams and elite athletes.
He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) in Chennai and subsequently specialised in Sports Therapy in the United Kingdom, completing his MSc in Sports Therapy from London Metropolitan University with Merit in 2010.
His professional career includes working with the Cricket Association of Bengal, where he served as Head Sports Physiotherapist for the Senior Bengal Cricket team. He worked with the team across major domestic tournaments and treated several national and international players.
In 2012, he joined the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as an Assistant Physiotherapist and has continued his association with the IPL team, later becoming Head Physiotherapist. He has also been involved in various BCCI assignments, including India A, India Under-19 and the National Cricket Academy.
Dr. Kamlesh has also contributed to sports physiotherapy through professional education and development. He was awarded a 100% Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship for his Master’s programme at London Metropolitan University and received the Significant Contribution to Sports Physiotherapy Award from the Indian Association of Physiotherapy in 2020.
