Dr. SAFDAR ALI SYED

Dr. Safdar Ali Syed is an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner and MSK Sonographer working in the United Kingdom, with nearly two decades of experience in assessing and managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders.

He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India, in 2000–01. He subsequently worked as a National Games Physiotherapist in India before moving to the UK in 2003.

Since moving to the UK, he has worked across NHS and private healthcare settings, developing extensive experience in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and trauma cases, along with clinical leadership, service development and people management.

His advanced clinical practice includes diagnostic MSK ultrasound, ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal injections and landmark-guided injection therapy where clinically appropriate. He has also worked extensively alongside Rheumatology and Pain Consultants within multidisciplinary clinics.

Dr. Safdar is also involved in professional development and education, supporting physiotherapists through guidance and expertise in advanced musculoskeletal practice, diagnostic imaging and injection therapy.
